Mud, Dirt, Honey, Gold and Oil, welcome to the May Lindstrom Skin line. All you need for your skin is held in these five tantalizing concoctions.

The Youth Dew Hydrating Serum

Each ingredient has a purpose to heal, protect, nourish and brighten. You will need nothing else over or under this serum. I kid you not, this pretty bottle can replace your moisturisers, eye creams and toners sitting on your vanity. It hydrates, evens out skin tone and calms problematic skin, giving you absolute radiance. My skin simply looks healthy and at its best. I have just finished my second bottle and I will soon purchase my third. Even in the scorching heat of Sydney weather, this product will work harmoniously with your skin. The Clean Dirt

It's not really dirt, don't worry. But what it is, is the best facial scrub you'll ever exfoliate with. This formula is in powder form, activated with water. Because it's in powder form, it'll last you a good while before it runs out. Its tiny little granules will remove every trace of dead skin cells, dirt and sebum. It will decongest your skin from toxins, helping to prevent breakouts. If you have acne, apply it as a masque and leave it for a few minutes rather than using it as a scrub. I exfoliate with the 'Clean Dirt' twice to three times a week, depending on the condition of my skin that week. Once you rinse the dirt away, your skin will brighten and look and feel oh so clean. It will prep your skin to effectively absorb the goodness of your moisturiser or facial oil. I have fallen head over heels...

ingredients: White Halloysite Clay, Red Moroccan Rhassoul Clay, Red Alaea Sea Salt, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Sodium Bicarbonate, *Althaea Officinalis (Marshmallow) Root, *Rosa Centifolia (Pink Rose), *Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Flower, *Cinnamomum Zeylanicum (Cinnamon), * Myristica Fragans (Nutmeg), *Syzygium Aromaticum (Clove), *Curcuma Longa (Turmeric), *Zingiber Officinale (Ginger), *Vanilla Planifolia Bean, **Theobroma Cacao (
(Raw Cacao).

The Problem Solver

"This intense treatment masque effectively purifies & tightens pores, extinguishes inflammations, fights & heals blemishes, jump-starts circulation in the epidermis & detoxifies skin…" -        May Lindstrom Skin

Well, there isn't really much to say, it does precisely what it says it does! That's why May Lindstrom is at the forefront at creating exceptional, nutrient enriched, spice tingling, organic infused concoctions. Your skin will feel ridiculously soft. It'll leave you with such softness that you will find yourself repeatedly reaching up and stroking your own skin.
It will draw impurities from those troublesome pores, making them appear smaller, while calming redness associated with sensitive and/or problematic skin . With continued use, your skin will look refined and complexion smooth and glowing. Problem solver indeed! Okay maybe there was much to say, but it is an extraordinary masque with exceptional properties. This masque is also in powered form, activated by water.

The Honey Mud (new)

This honey and clay infused daily cleanser reminds me fondly of gelato chocolate ice-cream my family would traditionally buy after a day at the beach in Victoria. It is a thick but gentle cleanser that can double as a masque. You really only need a pea size amount and it spreads evenly. I enjoy massaging this into my skin for a minute or two, leaving it on for 10 minutes and then watching my skin become a chocolate spread. This might sound strange but I love sticking my finger into it- it's so gooey!

I appreciate how broadly this cleanser performs. It offers moisturising and healing benefits with acne fighting ingredients. My favourite ingredient is the White Halloysite Clay. All that excess oil,  pollutants and impurities clogging your pores, gently extracted. Gunk fighting machine- So the results, clarity. calm. soft.

ingredients: *** Raw Honey, White Halloysite Clay, * Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia Nut Oil), * Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), Argentum Metallicum (Colloidal Silver), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa Absolute) Oil, * Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil, * Cananga Odorata (Ylang-Ylang) Oil, * Vanilla Planifolia (Vanilla) CO2 Total Essential Oil, * Juniperus Virginiana (Cedarwood) Oil, ** Boswellia Carteri (Frankincense) Oil, ** Commiphora Myrrha (Myrrh) Oil.

The Good Stuff

This is a body oil of only the good stuff. It has an exquisite formula of plant oils and translucent golden minerals, giving you the most glories glow to your body. It has a rich texture that is moisturising, leaving your skin with a silky, smooth touch. Although it is moisturising, I did not find it sufficient for dry or dehydrated skin.

I enjoy applying a few drops to the ends of my hair, as it gives it a lovely shine and a look of softness. I save this body elixir for special occasions, so for me it isn't much of a splurge- it has lasted me quite a while.

My husband doesn't like the scent of natural products, he finds them overpowering. But once he got a whiff of thcocoa, rose, lavender, and ylang-ylang on my skin, he was enthralled. Once this oil sinks into your skin and the scent surrounds you, you become a walking goddess shimmering in gold - literally.

ingredients: *Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, *Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia Nut) Oil, *Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Prunus Spp (Plum Kernel) Oil, *Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Oil, *Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa Absolute) Oil, *Cananga Odorata (Ylang-Ylang) Essential Oil, *Rosa Damascena (Rose Absolute) Essential Oil, *Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Essential Oil, Mica.

* Certified Organic

Price: $110

Side note: May also has introduced the 'Blue Cocoon beauty balm' ($160). It's dedicated to calm and hydrate sensitive, inflamed and irritable skin.

I would splurge on these all over again, what skincare line is worth the $$$ for you?

Sounds lovely! My latest favorite skin care lines come from Aromanaturals. They offer the Vitamin Crémes that actually work wonderfully on my facial skin! :D

I lo-o-ove the Problem Solver! It's definitely my go-to facial treatment when I want something special, something deep and restoring! I love it when I can see the difference from the first try.. I use the Blue Cocoon afterwards, and it's truly a home spa time for me!:)

P.S.: I am so glad to have you as a part of the Green Bloggers Community on TLV Birdie Blog!

This is such a fantastic and informative post! I just came across this line and was wondering if you knew of any sites in Australia where I could grab some samples? I wanted to gift the Blue Cocoon beauty balm to someone who has severe eczema but would like to know if it works with their skin! Thanks :)
